The Earl and Countess of Wessex visited Vauxhall City Farm to see their community engagement programmes, joining staff, volunteers, local residents and schoolchildren as the farm marked the start of Black History Month.

Not all of our animals can stay at the farm forever.
Children aged 7-12 years old can meet our two Shetland ponies, while children aged 4-6 years old can learn the names of our six rabbits.
Storm Ciara blew our stable roof off, and the local community put it back on!
Children aged 7-12 years old get to meet Jenny, the farm's very popular Kune Kune pig. Meanwhile, children aged 4-6 years old can find out about the guinea pigs.
The farm and cafe are open Tuesday - Sunday, 10.30am to 3.30pm - No booking required
Children aged 4-6 years old can now meet our chinchillas, and children aged 7-12 years old can watch Sophie do an animal health check.
If you've never felt jealous of a goat, you most definitely will now!
Please be aware that from tomorrow (Tuesday 11th August) we are changing the one way system at the farm
