Greetings Friends! It’s your favourite trio of alpacas – Cookie, Rolo, and Toffee – bringing you the woolly wonders of Vauxhall City Farm filled with festive cheer and plenty of events for you!

We have been busy planning an array of superb events for you all to enjoy this winter. From a Murder Mystery in our evening bar to festive crafts and a visit from Santa Claus himself. We’re here to make your holiday season merry and bright. Below you’ll find all the information you need to fill your calendars with fun and make some awesome memories!

SPECIAL EVENTS

Join us for an ultimate winter-themed Murder Mystery experience set amidst the cosy charm of Vauxhall City Farm’s evening bar on Thursday 30th November at 7:30pm. This mystery is brought to you by Nobody’s Fool Mystery Games. They are acclaimed for crafting the most beginner-friendly and fool-proof games on the market! Christmas at Vauxhall City Farm!

Hold on to your Santa hats as you stroll through the farm as this December, we’ve lined up a series of special events to make your farm experience even more memorable including an all new Winter Light Trail through our beautiful community garden, a Christmas trees sale, Macramé Wreath-Making sessions, a Christmas Market and carol singers; there’s something for everyone! Plus, Santa Claus himself will be making an appearance at the farms Grotto!

Macramé Wreath-making Workshop!

Say goodbye to traditional wreaths and embrace a modern twist at our Macramé Wreath-making Workshop! Join us for creative sessions where we’ll blend the art of macramé with seasonal foliage, resulting in a stunning masterpiece that’s yours to keep.

Sip on a warm drink, savour a mince pie, and let your imagination flourish!

Choose from the following dates:

2nd December: 11 am – 1 pm.

7th & 14th December: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

FARM LATES: Festive light trail through our beautiful garden.

New for 2023! Get ready to embark on a magical journey as our community garden undergoes a breath-taking transformation into a dazzling Winter Light Trail, creating a festive atmosphere that’s perfect for family outings, romantic strolls, or simply basking in the holiday spirit.

On Friday 1st December, the lights will be switched on by Aseem Sheikh, Chairman of Vauxhall One who have generously supported the Winter Light Trail.

We are overjoyed and extend our deepest gratitude to them for their generous support!

From the 2nd December you can immerse yourself in the enchanting glow of the season every Tuesday to Sunday until the 22nd of December, starting at 3 pm. Please note that closing times vary each day, so be sure to check our website for specific details and to book this experience. BOOK HERE

Christmas Tree Sale!

We are selling premium Nordmann fir cut Christmas trees, known for their deep green foliage, excellent needle retention and symmetry, in various sizes from 5ft to7ft. Order online now, or pop down to the farm and choose your own tree in person!

Santa's Grotto at Vauxhall City Farm!

Santa will be gracing The Farm with his merry presence! Gather your little ones for a magical encounter in his festive grotto, where each child will receive a special Christmas present and the chance to capture the moment with a cherished photo.

The big man himself will be spreading holiday cheer on the following dates: 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, and 17th of December, welcoming families between 11am and 3pm.

Christmas Market!

Whether you’re on the hunt for the perfect gift or treating yourself, our Christmas Market boasts a curated selection of unique items that are sure to delight.

Join us on the 16th and 17th of December, from 11:30am to 4pm, for a festive experience filled with joy. There will also be carol singers, face painting and much more!

Entrance is FREE, so bring the whole family and explore the wonders of the season.

Christmas Carols at Vauxhall City Farm!

On Saturday, 16th December, the farm will be alive with the enchanting voices of local school students as they fill the air with the timeless tunes of Christmas carols.

Join us for this festive musical extravaganza featuring:

11:30 am – 12:30 pm: St John the Divine Students

1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: The Norwood School Students

Immerse yourself in the spirit of the season, surrounded by the joyful harmonies of these talented young singers at Vauxhall City Farm.

FARM LATES: Delicious flavours from Faith’s Place!

As the sun sets and the stars twinkle above, join us at Faith’s Place bar for enchanting evenings under our festive lights.

We will be serving tasty classics such as mulled wine and minced pies during December, so come and sip on flavours that will tickle your taste buds in the merry atmosphere that only the holiday season brings.

Faith’s Place will be open late on various evenings in December to align with the Winter Light Trail.

Riding School

Update from our Riding School!

We want to keep you informed about an important update regarding our riding school. In the pursuit of enhancing your experience, we are undertaking planned construction works until September 2025. During this period, we have decided to temporarily pause riding school lessons to ensure the safety and well-being of our riders, staff and animals.

The Farm remains open for visitors, and we encourage you to explore the diverse range of activities and attractions we offer.

We value your continued support and look forward to welcoming you back in September 2025 for an improved riding school experience at Vauxhall City Farm.
