Young Volunteers (14-16)

Due to hourly restrictions placed on young people and their ability to volunteer during school months, we have come up with our volunteers offer for young people and Duke of Edinburgh students!

Riding

Volunteering with the riding project is a great way to experience horses and see find out whether working in this industry is something you want to pursue! Please be aware that riding the horses is not part of the volunteer duties.

If you are 15 years old you can volunteer for up to 5 hours every Saturday only, for 3 months with the Riding team.

The Saturday slots we offer are: 9am – 1pm or 1pm – 5pm

If you are 14 years old and completing a Duke of Edinburgh award, you can volunteer every Sunday, for two hours.

The Sunday slots we offer are:  9am – 11am / 11am – 1pm / 2pm – 4pm

It may be possible to continue your volunteering, if there are spaces available in the same or other projects, when your 3 months come to an end.

Please contact us to enquiry about available spaces in any of our projects or if you have questions.
