Step into spring with a day full of farmyard fun for all ages including….

🐑 SHEEP SHEARING
Watch the wool fly as our expert shearers give our sheep their spring trims! It’s up close, real-deal farm work in action. This year it will be held in our outside paddock so there’s plenty of room for everyone.

🧶 SPINNERS DEMO
See how wool becomes yarn in the most mesmerizing way! Local spinners will be working their wheels and happy to chat about their craft and teach you the journey from ‘Sheep to Sweater’.

🎪 GAMES ARENA
Classic springtime games and a few silly surprises! Fun for kids, teens and grown-ups who are young at heart.

🌿 SPRING HERB WALK 
Starting in our Community Garden and venturing out into the Pleasure Gardens, during this guided sensory walk we share the secrets and seasonal uses of spring herbs growing all around us. Best for adults, but children age 12+ years are welcome.

🐔 FARMYARD ANIMAL TALKS
See our furry and feathered residents and learn all about life on the farm – straight from the people who know them best!

📚 EDUCATION WORKSHOPS
Swot up on sustainability and a whole lot more in one of our education workshops. Suitable for ages 4+.

🧠 EDU ACTIVITY SHEETS & GAMES
Interactive fun for curious minds of all ages.

🐰 CUDDLE CORNER
Get snuggly with our friendliest animals! Ideal for little ones (and big animal lovers too).

🗺️ FAMILY FARM TRAIL
Explore every corner of The Farm, including the garden, Tyers Street to the outdoor paddocks.

🍽️ BBQ 
Delicious food hot off the grill – vegetarian options too!

🪑 PLAY FREE ZONE
A chill spot for grown-ups while kids enjoy unstructured, imagination-fuelled play.

🎉CAR FREE DAY!
Tyers Street will be closed to traffic for the day, so round up your herd and head to The Farms Spring Fair.

The Spring Fair is more than just a fun day out, and we are more than just a farm.

In celebration of what we offer our community, our education programmes, the wide spread love for our animals, gardens and all the staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to provide such a special place for all who visit, we are fundraising for our 50th Anniversary Appeal.

Entry to the Spring Fair is free… but we really appreciate every single donation. You can donate via our Appeal page, or on the event day where we will accept cash or card donations.
