George is running a marathon for Vauxhall City Farm!

This April, George will be running the Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon in Madrid to raise money for Vauxhall City Farm.

A green oasis in the heart of London, Vauxhall City Farm has been a cornerstone of the local community since it was founded in 1977. With a wide variety of animals and plant-life, VCF aims to educate and delight all those that pass through its gates.

VCF provides numerous opportunities to local people, including: volunteering opportunities, work experience placements for young people, school visits, learning based youth programmes for disadvantaged children, as well as operating a Riding for the Disabled Association centre.

Vauxhall City Farm is a small, independent charity, responsible for covering all of its own costs, which is why people like George, and those who sponsor them, are so vital to our survival. All money raised will go directly to the farm, helping us to take care of our animals, run our educational programmes and remain free to enter for everyone who visits.
