Community Garden!

In the warmth of our greenhouse, we’re gearing up to plant some seeds and getting ready to sow the beginnings of chillies, kale, tomatoes, broad beans, and aubergines.

Our spring bulbs should start to flower soon and we are hopeful for a colourful spring display around the farm as we planted tulips and daffodils in the autumn.

But that’s not all—we’re giving our perennial pals some final tidying up, trimming back the old to make room for the new growth peeking out at their bases. And speaking of trimming, our fig and fruit trees are getting a little haircut too, keeping them at a manageable height.

Introducing Gardening Club!

We are excited to extend a warm invitation to all those who have interest in gardening or are simply looking to connect with nature in a meaningful way. Join our group of novice gardeners and learn to love the garden for FREE!

Led by our experienced Vauxhall City Farm Gardener, you will learn about plants, flowers and seasonal produce as well as how we can make animal friendly environments in our open spaces. Equipped with the tools and knowledge you will have the chance to get hand-on and design and develop areas within our Vauxhall City Farm Community Garden.

A fantastic opportunity to meet others, spend time outdoors and learn new skills. We will be hosting two sessions fortnightly starting 6th March.
