We have a fantastic group of horses, suitable for all ages and abilities.

Without our horses we wouldn’t be able to offer riding lessons, riding therapy or riding for the disabled.

Did you know that you can support the farm by adopting our animals? Why not adopt the horses

Sapphire

Sapphire has been with us on the riding team nearly two years now. Sapphire (Saffy) is one of our quieter ponies who loves to help both on the lead and off the lead riders and jumping is something she is very good at too.

Lucky

Lucky is one our residents who has been here the longest, he has taught so many riders how to ride and gain confidence here at the farm. He loves lots of fuss and attention and is great for stable management lessons too. Lucky is our only grey pony so lots of grooming is needed as he loves to roll out in the paddocks.

Ellie

Ellie is owned by our Riding Project Manager, She is big but very beautiful. Ellie previously was a competition horse competing in lots of show jumping competitions over very large courses. Since retiring from that life style she is now here at the farm to help those wanting to learn that little bit more in the saddle on the flat and over fences.

Digby

Digby is also owned by the Riding Project Manager. He is our smallest pony on the yard and is such a great pony for those children learning to ride on the lead rein and just starting to come off the lead rein. Before Digby came to Vauxhall City Farm in May he was ridden by an 88 year old lady. This means he is super safe for any of our novice riders that may be less sure about getting on a horse and perfect for RDA lessons.

Billy

Billy is our gentle giant! Don't be put off by his size. He's such a great character and all of our smallest riders always want to ride Billy. He is super comfy and absolutely beautiful. Great for our RDA riders too as he's got a leg in each corner and really does help with keeping both disabled and able body riders balanced in the saddle.

Ronnie

Ronnie is an absolute gentleman! He is new to the yard and was previously hunted in Ireland by a 70 year old man. He is a lovely safe chap and takes part in most of our RDA lessons. He also is great for adult groups and private lessons. Ronnie is very chunky and very safe, but surprisingly, he loves to jump!

Molly

Molly is our youngest one on the yard. She is a lovely pony, who always aims to please. Those that meet Molly will fall in love with her. She is new to Vauxhall City Farm this year and has been taking part in our school group sessions, Children lessons (on and off the lead) and some adult lessons too. Molly loves having a pamper session and also likes to go out for a ride on the roads with the staff.

Fin

Fin is one of our longer staying residents at the farm. He is such a lovely, caring horse who always likes to please. Fin is probably one of the best horses to take off site to competitions. He has the WOW factor and always brings home the ribbons. Fin is great for all activities on site and he loves jumping and Gymkhana games.
