Halloween Half Term 23rd – 26th October

From Tuesday 23rd October to Friday 26th October we will be running a variety of fun Halloween activities!

Own A Pony (23rd, 24th and 25th)

The children learn basic horse care skills such as mucking out, grooming, learning how to tack up and feeding horses, along with other fun activities. A full day consists of 2 riding lessons morning and afternoon, a half day includes one riding lesson. The age range is from 6 years old up to 17 years of age.

Creepy Crawly Trail (23rd – 26th) – £1.50 to enter

Find all 10 bugs hidden around the farm, name them on our quiz sheet and win a farm or bug themed prize of your choice!

Farm Shop (23rd – 28th) 

Our quaint on site shop will be open, 11am – 3pm, Tuesday – Sunday. Take advantage of this great opportunity to get some of your Christmas shopping done early! There’s fantastic stocking fillers as well as bigger presents available to purchase every day!

Cuddle Corner – Face your Fear! (23rd – 26th) – £2 for 10 minutes 

Our popular Cuddle Corner, with a twist! You will be meeting our cuddly small animals as well as be able to face your fears by meeting some of our scarier residents as well as a few visitors! Come down and find out what horrors await you!

Edna the Owl (26th) 

Edna the barn owl will be visiting us on Friday 26th. Come and meet her and her owner Tom between 11am and 3pm. (Please be aware that Edna may need the occassional break away from people. Check with a member of the farmyard team to see when she will be out again, if she is on break when you are visiting!)

Pony Rides (26th) – £3 a go! 

We will be doing pony rides in our riding arena 10am – 12pm and 2pm – 3pm on Friday the 26th. The rides will be first come, first served so make sure that you get to the riding arena on time!

Crafts (23rd – 26th) – 50p – £1

Come and make pine cone animals with us (spooky and otherwise!) all week long. For the smaller kids we will be providing colouring in sheets of farm and creepy crawly animals!

Facepainting – (23rd – 26th) – £3

We will be doing face painting daily over the half term with a variety of spooky faces to chose from, as well as old favourites! Please be aware that on Tuesday 23rd facepainting will only be happening in the afternoon, 1pm – 4pm.
