Farmer For A Day Holiday Sessions

A programme which inspires young people, aged 8-14 to get growing, cooking and caring for animals.

Young people will be engaging in a range of fun activities across the farmyard and allotment areas. They will learn new skills, with new friends, whilst building upon their confidence, independence and communitcation.

Activities may include:

• Animal husbandary with a variety of our friendly animals
• How to use the space around you to grow your own food
• How to easily plan and create tasty dishes
• Learning about biodiversity and how to identify and care for it
• Teamwork, confidence and organisational skills

We will be be running the sessions on Tuesday 13th August and Wednesday 14th August

(with the possibility of adding Thursday 15th and/or Friday 16th, if the first two days sell out. Please contact us if you are interested in booking for Thursday or Friday)

Start: 10.30am
Finish: 3pm
Age: 8 – 14 years old
Cost: £80 per child
Clothing: Comfortable clothes and shoes that you are not afraid to get dirty
Lunch: Please bring a packed lunch with you – catering is not provided
