Room Hire

We have two rooms for hire for meetings, functions and events.

The Front Room is light and airy with full length windows overlooking our café terrace and duck pond and is suitable for all types of meetings, functions and events. The front room has a seating capacity of 48 Theatre style or 34 Boardroom style.

The Rear Room is smaller and overlooks St Oswald’s Place and residential properties to the rear of the farm. Please be aware; this room is often used as a teaching space so may be less suitable for more formal events. The rear room has a seating capacity of 30 Theatre style and 24 Boardroom style.

Both rooms can be set up to meet your requirements and we can provide catering and refreshments, flip charts and a digital projector.

How to Book: Please call us to check availability and reserve your room prior to completing and returning your booking form, if you are not immediately able to complete all booking form details but wish to secure your chosen date, you can do so by paying a deposit of £110. Please return your completed booking form by post or by email. Upon receipt an invoice will be issued for payment by cheque, bank transfer or credit/debit card.

Please Note: Your final requirements and full payment must be received no later than 14 days before your booking date. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to your booking date will be charged at 75% of the full booking cost. We do not allow external catering onsite.

The Farmyard is open from 10:30 – 16:00 Tuesday – Sunday. All visits onto the Farmyard must be within the standard opening hours. If you would like to visit the Farmyard during your room hire on a Monday, you will need to arrange for a private self- guided tour.

Office Away Day

An office away day is a great way to reinvigorate your team with fresh air and a change of scene. Hire a room at the farm for a meeting with a twist, or get your hands dirty and help with jobs around the farm with a Corporate Volunteering day .

We offer exclusive hire of Vauxhall City Farm’s Old Dairy Café and event space, for your special event. We can tailor the catering to match your requirements from canapés or finger buffets to full sit down meals.
