Our Education Partners
We pride ourselves in having a collaborative approach to our animal collection, as well as our projects and programmes. We work both locally, as well as partnering with large international organisations, too. The mission is clear: by working together we can better serve a wider range of communities and achieve even greater outcomes.
We are proud to be working with:
Civic Leadership Academy: The farm places a number of King’s College students into internships relevant to their studies. This work experience not only increases the employability of those involved, but also gives the farm access to some of the world’s most talented young people.
FarmerTime: We are the first city farm in the UK to register to LEAF’s FarmerTime initiative.
We regularly speak to our twinned class to give them an insight into the world of farming and agriculture and promote the farm’s mission, nationally.
We provide a bespoke SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) and Wellbeing programme for Lilian Baylis Technology School, offering vocational assistance for local young people in need of extra support.
Get Started in…: We work with the Prince’s Trust to provide interactive learning opportunities for 16-25 year olds, using the farm’s unique environment. Animal Care, Horse Care, Gardening, and Nature-Based Solutions are all explored with the expert guidance of both Vauxhall City Farm and the Prince’s Trust.
We share resources with the Royal Veterinary College.
The RVC also offer a number of pathways for young people to realise veterinary careers.
Together with educational experts TeamUp, Vauxhall City Farm provides an after-school tuition programme in both English and Maths.
