Job Title: Café/Bar Assistant
Salary: £10.85 per hour
Contract Type: Part Time
Hours: 20 hours
Responsible: To Café Supervisor
Accountable To: CEO

Key Responsibilities
◼ Providing exceptional customer service
◼ Preparation of a basic food items and occasional baking
◼ Taking payments at the till point
◼ Taking food to tables
◼ Clearing tables and keeping the café tidy
◼ Making and serving coffee and other hot drinks to a high standard
◼ Serving soft and alcoholic drinks
◼ Cleaning
◼ Assist in the running of events in the café/bar and meeting rooms including birthday parties.
◼ To comply with the arrangements made to deliver services in accordance with the Vauxhall City Farms Equal Opportunities Policy
◼ To adhere to all health and safety instructions and not to do anything that might endanger themselves or others; to report to their line manager any dangerous situations in the workplace or any shortcomings in health and safety arrangements that they perceive

Special Conditions
This position may involve contact with young people. The postholder will therefore be subject to a DBS check on appointment and on an appropriate review basis thereafter.
