Corporate Support

There are many documented benefits for businesses that can readily demonstrate their Corporate Social Responsibility by supporting charities; these include but are not limited to:

  • Enhanced brand recognition
  • Increased positive PR
  • Employee retention
  • Customer attraction and retention
  • Enhanced teamwork
  • Financial efficiency

Our aim is to make sure that all our Corporate supporters achieve as much benefit as possible in return for the help that their support gives to the Farm.

There are many different ways; formal and informal; large and small in which your business can support the farm and in doing so make a positive difference to us and those our work supports.

The following aims to provide a few examples, together with a brief outline of how you can make that difference, but we’d suggest that if you are interested in getting involved and supporting the farm you contact us and arrange a discussion with our CEO to discuss what form of support would provide the best mutual benefit for both of us!

In the meantime; here’s a list of ideas…

Formal Support (longer term commitment & support)

  • Corporate Sponsorship
  • Corporate Funder
  • Corporate Partnerships

Informal Support (less commitment – one off/ad hoc support)

  • Corporate volunteering
  • Payroll Giving
  • Quick and easy support

Formal Support

Corporate Sponsorship: We have a number of sponsorship opportunities available. You can sponsor anything from a single raised bed in our allotment area, individual stables, our riding arena, duck pond area, meeting rooms and café to any one of our education, training and support programmes and more.

Sponsorship opportunities range from £250 to £20,000 per year. In return you’ll be recognised on site, on our website and via social media. Please contact us to discuss your budget; the opportunities available and how we will recognise your contribution.

Corporate Funder: Ideally, we ask Corporate Funders to provide us with ‘unrestricted’ donations; i.e. allowing us to target your donation to where it is most needed across the farm; whether that is to cover core costs, or a specific element of equipment or programme spend. In return your contribution may be recognised onsite; on our website and via social media; the level of recognition will be dependant on the level of funding provided.

Corporate Partnerships: This is a much more varied relationship with a mixture of direct donation funding and other activities that add to this throughout the year (e.g. fundraising events organised and participated in by employees of the partner, perhaps payroll giving, hosting collection boxes, support VCF’s own events, volunteering at the farm and so on). Overall Corporate Partnerships tend to be much more interactive relationships so work better for businesses that want regular engagement opportunities.

Informal Support

Corporate Volunteering: Great for away days and team building. Choose a whole day of volunteering or take the morning to have a team meeting in one of our rooms and the afternoon to do hands on tasks at the farm.

Payroll giving: Also known as Give as You Earn. Each month a set amount designated by the individuals participating will be deducted from their salary and passed on to the farm. It’s also a great way for a business to ‘adopt’ the farm and have lot of employees provide direct support. You can find out more about the scheme run by the Charities Aid Foundation.

Quick & Easy Support: There are lots of very quick and simple ways to support the farm via your workplace; everything from hosting one of our collection boxes, to having a dedicated fundraising day, to supporting us on Social Media or simply shopping online.
