Raise the Roof – Update

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you, from everyone here at the farm, to all who donated to our Raise the Roof appeal. We received 217 individual donations and are touched by the support shown to us and our animals, from the entire community.

Thank you to everyone who shared and talked about the appeal.

Some very special thanks goes to:

· Our friends at the Eagle – the place to be for Vauxhall’s nightlife – for bucket shaking for the Farm at all of their events;

· Cycle Confident and their office collection for ‘Homeless Alpacas’;

· Our local councillors for their ongoing support of our mission;

· Time Out magazine for spreading the word about the appeal across London

· Last but not least, special thanks goes to invaluable support from John Lewis Partnership, for their generous donation which has put the fundraiser over the target; and staff from National Grid’s office on Albert Embankment, promising to supply much-needed labour to get the roof up and look at other pressing maintenance issues at the Farm!

We are elated to have secured the funds and support needed to Raise the Roof – work to restore the stable and give the alpacas their home back can soon begin!

We’re thrilled that any further donations will go into sorely needed roofing works to patch up leaks we have on the site, including storm damage done to the riding stables.

We’ve been truly humbled by the volume of people getting in touch; just one of many reasons why we #LoveLambeth
