What is it?
The Young Farmers Club is a 10 week self development volunteering project that enables you to gain skills, knowledge and experience working on a farm, handling animals and learning about the environment.
Who is it for?
The Club is for young people aged 8 - 12 and 13 - 18
What do we offer?
Ten weeks experience on a farm and training from qualified professionals
What do you gain?
- Knowledge, skills and experience of working on a farm and handling animals
- A portfolio showcasing the skills you've gained
- A certificate in handling animals
- The opportunity to boost your team work, communication skills and confidence.

Work experience
What is it?
A week of work experience where you will be assisting farm staff with their daily duties. Work experience is available for young people aged 14 - 19. Download a poster for more information
We have some places in June and July then places available from mid-August onwards - please get in touch to check specific dates.
