The Photo-Story of 'The Pod'

The compost and muck heap area was the space that was identified for the 'inside space', and with creative redesigning of the space's usage - 'The Pod' had a home. Here's some of the images which shows 'The Pod' becoming a reality out of a dream.

With the support of Axis and Higgins, the knocking down of walls and clearing was done...

Then the 'Ecopod' men came down from Derby to start the build....and luckily the weather stayed good.

The Pod was offically opened when we had our AGM on 30th January 2010. Now it is open for business!

The young children took responsibility for the interior designs of the Pod, here's a few with their bespoke painted columns in the Pod.
