We're an approved Pony Club Centre and the pony club provides riding and stable management lessons to local children at a subsidised rate.
The objectives of the Pony Club are:·
To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding.
• To provide instruction in riding and horsemanship and to nurture in members the proper care of their animals they can work towards their Pony Club tests and badges..
• To promote the highest standards of sportsmanship, principles of citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength of character and self-discipline.
The Pony Club is run on a fortnightly basis, we ask each member to make the commitment to participate every fortnight. All lessons need to be paid for as they are so heavily subsidised by the Farm. The minimum age for these lessons is 8 years old.
