Arts and Crafts
The classroom at the farm, overlooking the goats, sheep and cows is a fantastic space to get creative and messy - without having to do the clearing up! Taking inspiration from the farm and surrounding gardens, children are encouraged to draw, make collages, puppets or monsters made from recycled materials and invent their own ‘animals’!
Environmental Crafts
Schools and community groups will find our environmental craft making workshop a very calming and therapeutic experience – using natural materials to make outdoor mobiles, natural Christmas tree decorations, willow weaving or complex bird boxes, the principle of environmental education throughout the workshop creates a stimulating learning activity through creative arts.
Get Cooking
Vauxhall City Farm has a kitchen and classroom area suitable for groups of up to 15 individuals to cook together. The practical, hands on cooking activities are always enjoyable and allows participants to learn about the principles of healthy eating and explore the farm for ingredients which they can use to make a dish and take home for the family to eat!
