NEWS: Education on the farm is now accredited by CEVAS and CLOC
The farm’s education programme has been awarded a badge from the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (CLOC) and accreditation from the Countryside and Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme (CEVAS) which means we are recognised and awarded as a quality and safe learning experience for schools.
Vauxhall City Farm provides an excellent space for learning, providing rare and memorable opportunities for everyone to see farm animals up close and to ‘learn by doing’ during term-time. Our activities tie into the national curriculum supporting your classroom focus. Activities at Vauxhall City Farm are suitable for all key stages/age groups although particularly foundation stage, key stage 1 and 2.

The Education programme facilitates a range of activities: guided Talk Tours on and about the animals on the farm; with additional activities attached to the tours with 'Cow Milking', 'Nursery Group Activities', ‘Pond Dipping’, ‘Arts & Crafts’, ‘Environmental Crafts’ and ‘Get Cooking’.

The Education Project responds to each of the 'Four Seasons' to give children the opportunity to learn as well as having fun on the farm with affordable activities. These activities are designed for children aged 4years and upwards.

Vauxhall City Farm values the importance of creative learning and we run National Curriculum based workshop sessions: 'Food, Glorious Food!', ‘Green Explorers’ and ‘Aren’t Animals Great’.

Other Educational Activities at the farm such as Business Studies / GCSE& A Level Students and Vauxhall City Farm’s ‘Dragons Den’.

Vauxhall City Farm is always interested in new collaborative projects with schools or community groups! We have an active Outreach Programme: bringing the farm to your school, local community or borough event. We can even support you in developing a green space at school or in your neighbourhood projects.
