Vauxhall City Farm provides an excellent space for learning, providing rare and memorable opportunities for everyone to see farm animals up close and to ‘learn by doing’ during term-time. Our activities tie into the national curriculum supporting your classroom focus. Activities at Vauxhall City Farm are suitable for all key stages/age groups although particularly foundation stage, key stage 1 and 2.

Our most popular activity is the guided
Talk Tours of the farm. This lasts around 1 hour and is tailored to your group requirements. During the tour children can meet all the farm animals and touch many of the smaller ones including ducks, chickens, rabbits and ferrets! Tours cost £2 per child for Lambeth schools and £2.50p per child for schools based outside of Lambeth.

We also offer exciting curriculum linked workshops for key stage 1 & 2 pupils. Our most popular are 'Cow milking', 'Aren't Animals Great' and seasonal activities.

Vauxhall City Farm is always interested in new collaborative projects with schools or community groups! We have an active
Outreach Programme: bringing the farm to your school, local community or borough event. We can even support you in developing a green space at school or in your neighbourhood projects.

We also offer teachers the chance to incubate and hatch eggs in their own classrooms!
